New owners, nice employees, good food. They are fair and accommodating. The only problem: they are closed on Sunday, a day I would use them most

Not that great!! Recently visited to try their pizza and subs and both were mediocre at best. Got a Chicken Parm Sub (different style than I was used to with optional toppings like lettuce and tomatoe and hot peppers). If the sub was really good it would have only sauce and melted cheese (it had no sauce ). The cheese pizza I had was rather unexciting. This place used to rock under the previous Greek ownership (loved their spaghetti, greek salad, and hot tuna sub among other things). Things change, but not always for the better.

Newton Pizza House has very much improved under the new owners. They are extremely nice. prices are now lower and affordable for Newton. $8 average for a large sub. The place is clean and kept up. I have eaten there 3 times this month alone.
The new owners will go out of there way to make sure your order is the way you want it. They will do off menu items so don't be afraid to ask.
One of the cooks made this customized grilled veggie sub with runny fried eggs on top, It was off the scale good.
The new Wood wall decor is very nice. Newton Pizza House carries harder to find soda's like Mello Yellow, Fanta flavors. Their fries and onion rings are very good. ask for them well done and they will make them extra crispy and not burnt.
Newton Pizza House has delivery, takes credit cards and is wheelchair accessible. No power door though, but they will help you. Check them out if you haven't been here or not been in a while. Oh and their Pizza is fantastic as well. -

UPDATE: NEW OWNERS........I had been going to this pizza shop for 40 years under the old ownership. So far I have ordered a pizza and a sub from the new owners. Both quite good. The new people there are very friendly and seemed very careful to make my order just the way I wanted it.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I haven't tried other offerings from their shop yet. -

Located right next to the USPS this Pizza House is the epitome of mediocre. In fact this place is more of a 2.5 star place but I rounded up to 3. We keep ordering from this place anyway since it's so convenient. It definitely not for the quality, price or the service. They also aren't known for their speed in preparing pizzas. Anyway all that aside I love getting the ricotta and bacon pizza! They have a good selection of other toppings listed on their website. The pizza itself tastes good fresh but there's so much cheese that it slides here, there, everywhere.
We usually order take out from this place, but we've also had the misfortune of being the only customers dining there and having the pizza orders take 30 minutes. All the while we were starving and only could smell the tantalizing smell of pizza baking. The interior has a few tables with seating and your typical pizza condiments on the table. Near the registers they have a few fridges one of them filled with their pre-made desserts. As others have mentioned the service here also not great. We called in an order over the phone and they said it'd be ready in 15, we tried to kill time by getting gas beforehand too. They still weren't ready when we got there... We really should stop being lazy and try to find some comparable options.
